PM Vishwakarma Yojana: पीएम विश्वकर्मा योजना के तहत तय किए गए 18 ट्रेड में लोगों के कौशल को और निखारने के लिए मास्टर ट्रेनरों के जरिए ट्रेनिंग भी दी जाएगी और इसके साथ ही 500 रुपये प्रतिदिन स्टाइपेंड भी देगी.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) ने रविवार 17 सितंबर को अपने 73वें जन्मदिन के मौके पर देश के लोगों को बड़ा तोहफा देते हुए ‘पीएम विश्वकर्मा योजना’ (PM Vishwakarma Yojana) लॉन्च की. ये 13,000 करोड़ रुपये की सरकारी स्कीम पारंपरिक कौशल वाले लोगों को अपना कारोबार शुरू करने में बेहद मददगार साबित होगी. इसमें स्किल ट्रेनिंग के साथ ही लाभार्थियों को दो चरणों में 3 लाख रुपये तक का लोन देने का भी प्रावधान है, जो कारोबार शुरू करने में वित्तीय मदद करेगा. आइए जानते हैं इस योजना में कैसे अप्लाई कर सकते हैं और किसे इसका लाभ मिलने वाला है.

सबसे पहले बताते हैं कि आखिर ये पीएम विश्वकर्मा योजना (PM Vishwakarma Yojana) आखिर है क्या? तो बता दें इस योजना के जरिए सुनार, लोहार, नाई और चर्मकार जैसे पारंपरिक कौशल रखने वाले लोगों को कई तरह से फायदे मिलेंगे. सरकार की ओर से योजना में 18 पारंपरिक कौशल वाले व्यवसायों को शामिल किया गया है, जिससे कि पूरे भारत में मौजूद ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्रों के कारीगरों और शिल्पकारों को मदद मिलेगी. इनमें कारपेंटर, नाव बनाने वाले, लोहार, ताला बनाने वाले, सुनार, मिट्टी के बर्तन और अन्य सामान बनाने वाले कुम्हार, मूर्तिकार, राज मिस्त्री, मछली का जाल बनाने वाले, खिलौने बनाने वाले समेत अन्य शामिल हैं.
Scheme Objectives
PM Vishwakarma Yojana was announced by Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman during her 2023-2024 budget speech.
The full name of PM Vishwakarma Yojana is PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana.
It is also known by other name i.e. “PM VIKAS Yojana” or “PM Vishwakarma Scheme“.
On 16th of August 2023, Union Cabinet gave its nod to implement PM Vishwakarma Yojana in whole of India.
Date fixed by Union Cabinet to launch it is on 17th of September 2023.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana is going to launch on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti on 17-08-2023.
The main objective behind launching PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana is to support artist, craftsman and small business owner financially and help them to grew their business by providing them capital support.
Government of India reserves the budget of Rs. 13,000/- Crore for the smooth implementation of PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise is the nodal ministry of PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
Loan up to Rs. 1,00,000/- on a Interest of only 5% will be provided to all eligible Artists and Craftsment for their business.
And if they successfully pay back the loan amount then they again take a loan up to Rs. 2,00,000/- on a Interest Rate of 5%.
Apart from Capital Loan, Skill Training will also provided to Artists and Craftsmen under PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
Stipend of Rs. 500/- per Day will be provided to trainee selected for training under Pradhanmantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana.
A Financial Assistance of Rs. 15,000/- will also provided to all Craftspeople and Artisan to purchase advance tools for their business.
Government of India will also provide PM Vishwakarma Certificate and Identity Card to beneficiaries for their easy identification.
18 Traditional Trades is included by Government of India under PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
30 Lac Families belonging to more than 164 Backward Classes is expected to be covered and is going to take benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
Eligible Artisans and Craftsman will have to wait little more in order to avail the benefit of PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana will officially launched by Government of India on 17th of September 2023.
Now Government of India Launched the Guidelines and Application Procedure of Pm Vishwakarma Yojana.

Eligibility Criteria
1. An artisan or craftsperson working with hands and tools and engaged in one of the 18 family-based
traditional trades mentioned in the scheme, in unorganized sector on self-employment basis, shall be
eligible for registration under PM Vishwakarma.
2. The minimum age of the beneficiary should be 18 years on the date of registration.
3. The beneficiary should be engaged in the concerned trade on the date of registration and should
not have availed loans under similar credit-based schemes of Central Government or State
Government for self-employment/ business development, e.g. PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, Mudra, in the past
5 years.
4. The registration and benefits under the Scheme shall be restricted to one member of the family. For
availing benefits under the Scheme, a ‘family’ is defined as consisting of the husband, wife and
unmarried children.
5. A person in government service and their family members shall not be eligible under the Scheme.
Documents Required
The following documents is expected to be needed at the time of applying for PM Vishwakarma Yojana :-Aadhar Card.
- Voter Identity Card.
- Proof of Occupation.
- Mobile Number.
- Bank Account Details.
- Income Certificate.
- Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
How to Apply
- Eligible Artists and Craftsman can apply for Pradhanmantri Vishwakarma Yojana through Online Application Form.
- Online Application Form of Pm Vishwakarma Yojana is available on PM Vishwakarma Yojana Official Portal from 17th of September 2023.
- Beneficiary has to Register themselves first with the help of their mobile number and Aadhar Card.
- PM Vishwakarma Yojana Website will verify the Mobile Number and Aadhar Card of Beneficiary through OTP Authentication.
- After Verification, A Registration Form of PM Vishwakarma Yojana will appear on the screen.
- Fill the basic details like, Artist or Craftsman Name, Address, Trade Related Details in the Pm Vishwakarma Yojana Registration Form.
- Now Click on Submit Button to Submit It.
- Download the PM Vishwakarma Digital ID and Certificate for future reference.
- Now Login on the same PM Vishwakarma Yojana Portal and Apply for different components of scheme.
- Upload all the required documents.
- Submit the Application Form of PM Vishwakarma Yojana for consideration.
- Concerned Officials then verify the received application.
- And with the help of Commercial Banks, Regional Rural Banks and Other Financial Institutions, the Collateral Free Loan under PM Vishwakarma Yojana will be disbursed among beneficiaries.
- Artist and Craftsman can also register and apply for PM Vishwakarma Yojana by visiting their nearest CSC Center.
- Government of India will also planning to develop a Pm Vishwakarma Yojana Mobile App for registration under PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
