The registered office of the foundation is located in Gandhinagar in Gujarat State.

ગુજરાત ફોરેસ્ટ્રી રિસર્ચ ફાઉન્ડેશન ભરતી એક સ્વતંત્ર સંચાલક મંડળ સાથેની એક સ્વાયત્ત સંસ્થા છે, જેની રચના વનસંવર્ધન અને વન્યજીવનમાં સંશોધનના સંચાલન અને વિકાસ માટે તેમજ વૃક્ષ આનુવંશિકતા, ટીશ્યુ કલ્ચર, બાયોટેકનોલોજીની એપ્લિકેશન્સ વગેરે જેવા વિશિષ્ટ વિષયોમાં કરવામાં આવી છે. ફાઉન્ડેશન વન અને પર્યાવરણ હેઠળ છે. ગુજરાત સરકારનો વિભાગ અને તે રજીસ્ટ્રેશન ઓફ સોસાયટીઝ એક્ટ, 1860 અને પબ્લિક ટ્રસ્ટ એક્ટ, 1950 હેઠળ એક સોસાયટી તરીકે નોંધાયેલ છે. ફાઉન્ડેશનની નોંધાયેલ ઓફિસ ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં ગાંધીનગર ખાતે આવેલી છે.
